À Paris, Le Marais.

He points out a lot of things, but I'll add some more:

:13 I wish I were sitting there. There has been a church on this spot since at least the 4th century. This one was started in the 15th I think.

:48 Municipal laws would never allow for this kind of encroachment on a sidewalk here.

Cool little bar. Notice the ashtrays. Heaters overhead.

:52 “Non, non, non, c'est à l'extérieur en général!”

1:13 Gateway leading to the Place des Vosges.

1:26 Police whistle?

3:10 Scarves, scarves, scarves.

3:22 Waiter in traditional waiter dress. The people at the 2nd table on the right are two separate groups, I believe. They will seat you wherever there is room.

3:45 Paris on Sunday. Busy. None of these are pedestrian-only streets. Also, it's deserted here on Saturdays due to Shabbat.

3:55 Road Rage

5:16 one of the first paved streets in the Marais.

5:46 Seeing people eat and walk at the same time in France is a newer phonomenon.

6:08 He means “on the left” It was Jo Goldenberg's. It was bombed in the 80s as well.

7:53 Love this guy's face.

8:15 The falafel here is to die for. The first time I went here in 1994, it was tiny and relatively unknown or so it seemed. Now they've expanded. The owner is the guy on the right with the sunglasses on his head, I think. The son of the original owner.
